Please let us know the following information
-
When you can travel, how many days your would like to book for fishing, how many
fishing people in your group, what primary target species you would like to fish
for.
If you have specific dates already please let us know that as well. Many
of these game fish are migratory and some times of the year in certain
locations might be more productive. We understand that your personal schedule
might not coincide with the best time of year for certain fish but let us know
anyway so we can suggest the best options to consider.
Giant Wahoo are most
prolific in the late Fall and Winter around Grand Bahama, Freeport/Lucaua
but like Blue Marlin we have caught
Wahoo and Tuna every month of the year. Spring and early summer in the Bahamas are the best time for Blue
Marlin but we have also caught them every calendar month of the year. Yellowfin Tuna
are more abundant in the late Winter, Spring and early Fall. Blue Marlin are most
abundant in the Bahamas in Spring and early
Summer, Turks and Caicos Islands in June, July and August - there
are a lot of fish here during those months and if your schedule allows we would
recommend 5 days before and 5 days after the full moon for best results. There
are many tournaments in the Bahamas for Wahoo and also Blue Marlin, if you are
interested in fishing tournaments please contact us for special tournament rates.
One of the best features about fishing the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos is that the
prevailing winds come from the northerly direction in the winter and easterly
direction in the Spring and Summer. Winter fishing is in the lee of Grand Bahama
Island and in the lee of Providenciales in the Summer months.
